YouTube streaming is now part of the Billboard Charting Platform as of Feb 2013. Billboard is the main charting platform in US. You have seen videos like Gangnam Style by PSY, and Harlem Shake hit #1 on overall iTunes charts after becoming viral on youtube.

YouTube is a great way to find new music and artists. For a little over a year, Dirty Loops has been making viral videos of their Funk, Jazz, Fusion arrangements of Pop songs like Baby by Justin Bieber, and Circus by Britney Spears. They were signed by David Foster late 2012 and have been touring Asia and are due to release their debut album in Fall 2013. A group to watch!!!

Another favorite YouTube find is Tori Kelly. Her acoustic cover of Suit & Tie by Justin Timberlake has over 1 million views and was uploaded just a little over a week ago. She also has a great original project available on iTunes
