You know that teensy little lift you feel whenever someone "likes" something you've posted on Facebook? With this new device, you'd feel more than just a teensy mood shift--you'd feel a full-on, all-around-you hug!

Introducing the Like-a-Hug vest from Melissa Chow, Andy Payne, and Phil Seaton at the MIT Media Lab. The vest puffs up and gives you a squeeze whenever someone thumbs-ups a post, video, or photo. Then, you can send a hug back to the person who "liked" you by squeezing and deflating the vest. Sure, it looks like it might get a wee bit puffy--but wouldn't you want a squeeze if you were feeling down? The only real trouble might come about if you write something especially witty that gets tons and tons of "likes"--you might get over-squeeze!  For more watch The Daily Dish!
